Jessica's All-Star Virtual Baby Shower!

Print
Hey batter, batter, swiiing! Baseball season is coming down to a close and the World Series is scheduled around the time my dear friend, Jessica of The Jey of Cooking, will welcome her daughter into the world. Who says a baby girl shower should be filled with pastels and little dainty things? Since Jessica is such an avid Cubs baseball fan and is in her last inning before her little sweet slugger gal arrives, it seemed appropriate to host this All-Star Virtual Baby Shower in her honor. For this virtual baby shower blog party, Jessica's favorite food bloggers teamed up to create a delicious spread of dishes inspired by ballpark favorites. Here's the home-run round up fit for Jessica's MVP! Please visit the following links of these amazing food bloggers for the recipes.

Congratulations Jessica & here's wishing you the best with your sweet new baby girl!

Homemade Cracker Jacks
Heather Lynn of Hezzi D's Books & Cooks
makes a homemade version of the popular Cracker Jacks!
No baseball game is complete without caramelized popcorn to snack on...

Homemade Chicago Mix Popcorn
Joelen of What's Cookin, Chicago
Here in Chicago, the only way to enjoy popcorn is with a taste of both sweet and savory. To accomplish this, homemade cheese & caramel popcorn are combined for the ultimate popcorn treat...

Soft Hot Pretzels
Kim of Just Baked

What's a ball game without a soft hot pretzel to bite into?

Deep Fried Pickles
Yudith of Blissfully Delicious
Yudith takes the simple pickle and turns into an addictive appetizer! These crispy chips
made of pickles are perfect with a nice cold beer while watching the game...

Pork Nachos
Nicole of Prevention RD
Skip the cheese and pile on the pork! These nachos are brought to a delicious
new level that turns this favorite ballgame snack into a satisfying meal...

Mexican Hot Dogs
Brady of Branny Boils Over
The classic hot dog gets a delicious south of the border makeover with cilantro, lime,
queso fresco and avocado. No ketchup or mustard required on this dog!

Philly Cheesesteaks
Sarah of Taste of Home Cooking
If there's one thing I love, it's a good sandwich. Sarah doesn't disappoint with this Philly Cheesesteak! Filled with thinly sliced steak a& cheese, turn it into a hoagie with the addition of lettuce & tomato!

LA Hot Dogs
Krysta of Mrs. Regueiro's Plate
Yes, it's true. Bacon makes everything better... including these hot dogs! Wrapped in bacon and garnished with a colorful salsa, you'll never want a plain hot dog again...

Buffalo Chicken Sliders
Melissa of I Was Born to Cook
These sliders make eating chicken wings so much easier and tastier! Enjoy all the
deliciousness of buffalo chicken wings without the mess in a perfect little sandwich...

Shake Shack Burgers
Amy of What's Brewing in the Kitchen
There's nothing like biting into a juicy burger and these burgers are perfect for the
end of summer games. So make these burgers and pair it up with a nice cold one!

Mini Funnel Cakes
Kim of Feed Me Seymour
Funnel cakes are not just for fairs! These make for the perfect dessert,
especially for a baseball game. They're fun to make and even more fun to eat!

Brownie Blizzard
Rachel/Good Thymes & Good Food
A summer ballgame is made all the better with something cool and creamy like ice cream. But why just have plain ice cream when you can enjoy this ice cream concoction with chunks of brownies swirled in?!
